The Brand

Since 1877, ELKA has carried forward a watchmaking story that began in the Netherlands, earning recognition for its craftsmanship, including from the Dutch royal court. After a long hiatus, the brand was revived in 2022 in Neuchâtel by Hakim El Kadiri, with the ambition of bringing its heritage into conversation with contemporary watchmaking. ELKA draws inspiration from the 1960s, an era when objects were made to last and design had real personality. Its Swiss timepieces blend neo-vintage aesthetics, minimalism, and organic forms. More than a design principle, “Form Follows Feeling” expresses the desire to create watches that leave a lasting emotional impression.

The Watch

This elegant men's watch showcases Swiss watchmaking expertise. Its high-quality 316L stainless steel case has a polished and brushed/satin finish that gives it a subtle shine and modern look. The round case measures 40.80 mm in diameter and 10.80 mm thick, balancing comfort with a commanding presence on the wrist. A domed sapphire crystal, known for its exceptional scratch resistance, has an anti-reflective coating for clear visibility. The screw-down case back provides added protection against water intrusion and underscores the model's durability. Limited to just 100 pieces, each watch is numbered for added exclusivity.

The Dial

The dial is a design achievement, with a beautiful sunray finish that catches the light with every movement. Its deep black color complements the minimalist design, while the analog hands elegantly display the hours, minutes, and seconds. The absence of numerals creates a clean, contemporary look. A domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial and ensures excellent legibility even in challenging light.

The Movement

At the heart of this timepiece is the Swiss La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). Known for its reliability, it also offers a 68-hour power reserve, keeping the watch running even after three days off the wrist. A hacking seconds function allows precise synchronization when setting the time.

The Strap

The black calfskin strap is a perfect wedding ring of comfort and elegance. Its soft texture and flexibility make it comfortable to wear all day, while its color complements the watch's black dial. Secured to the wrist with a sturdy pin buckle, this strap combines durability with classic style.
