The Watch

Japanese watchmaker Casio continues to push boundaries and write new chapters in its story with you. With a bold sporty look, it delivers feature-packed models designed to keep up with your daily life. Here we discover the EFR-571D-1AVUEF watch from its Edifice collection. It sports a stainless steel case with a 45mm diameter and 12mm thickness - dimensions perfectly suited to a men's wrist. To shield the dial from everyday knocks and scratches, the brand equips it with a mineral glass crystal. A sleek steel bezel frames the crystal. At the three o'clock index, a screwed crown allows hand-setting adjustments, flanked by two pushers to operate the various counters. Finally, its screw-down case back guarantees 10 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

This round dial features a clean, understated black background that houses a wealth of functionality. At the center, two silver sword-shaped hands indicate the hours and minutes respectively. A slender blue seconds hand tracks the seconds. All hands feature Neobrite luminescent treatment for easy reading in low light. Time markers take a baton shape to aid legibility, accompanied by a white minute track. This model features three sub-dials: a 60-minute counter at six o'clock, a 1/10th-second counter at nine o'clock, and a 24-hour counter at twelve o'clock. A date window with a black background sits at the three o'clock index. Finally, the brand's signature appears at the three o'clock position.

Functions

Neobrite: The hands and/or indexes are coated with a fluorescent material that keeps them glowing in the dark after exposure to a light source.

Date display: The current date is shown in a window on the dial.

Chronograph function - 1/10 sec - 1 hr - 24 hours: Elapsed time, split time, and final time are measured to 1/10-second precision, up to a maximum duration of one hour.

Movement

This watch is powered by a high-quality Swiss Quartz chronograph movement - delivering flawless accuracy and outstanding reliability. It drives the hour, minute, and second hands, the three sub-dials, and the date window.

"The Strap"

To perfectly complement the dial, this watch features a brushed stainless steel bracelet. Sleek and comfortable to wear, it hugs your wrist effortlessly after a simple size adjustment. It fastens with a deployment clasp for easy on and off. Please note that the lug width is 22mm.

Water Resistance

This model offers 10 ATM water resistance - that's 100 meters. Truly water-resistant and built for an active lifestyle, it's more than ready to join you in any aquatic adventure. From rain puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles splashes, showers, baths, and recreational swimming without breaking a sweat. That said, Ocarat's watchmaking experts note that while water-resistant, this model is not suited for diving (professional or otherwise) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or pushers while the watch is submerged.
