The Watch

Casio has been a trusted companion in everyday life for over 60 years. Today, the brand presents a connected chronograph built for daily wear. The Edifice ECB-40DC-1AEF features a round case crafted from black carbon fiber with a sleek gray bezel. The case measures 52.4 mm in length, 48 mm in width, and 12.7 mm in thickness. A flat mineral glass sits over the dial to shield it from everyday impacts. On either side of the Edifice, you'll find a crown and four push-buttons for activating and adjusting its functions. Finally, this timepiece features a screw-down case back providing 10 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

This black dial features both analog and digital displays. Two central white hands indicate the hours and minutes respectively. The dial also includes a black inner ring housing a minute track alongside silver baton indices for hour reading. On the digital side, the watch features two digital screens showing various functions such as the day. The brand signs this timepiece with its logo at 3 o'clock.

Built for precision lovers: countdown timers remind you of important or recurring events by sounding an audible alert at the set date and time. The countdown can be programmed in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance.

5 daily alarms

A daily audible alarm reminds you of your commitments at the programmed time. This model features five independent alarms, giving you the flexibility to stay on top of all your important appointments.

Day of the week display in multiple languages

The day is displayed in your choice of multiple languages.

Key tone on/off

The key tone can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, no beep will sound when switching between functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdown timers remain active after the key tone is turned off.

Hand shift function

This function allows you to move the hands when they obstruct the time, date, or stopwatch display.

Automatic calendar

Once programmed, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-hour time format

You can display the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.

That said, our watchmaking experts note that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should not be exposed to high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and push-buttons clear of water during submersion.
