The Watch

The Casio Edifice ECB-40P-1AEF is a multifunction chronograph with a classic, refined look. It is housed in a carbon fiber case built to withstand even the most extreme adventures. The round case measures 52.4 mm in diameter, 12.7 mm thick, and 48 mm lug-to-lug. A mineral glass crystal sits beneath a bezel with an ion-plated finish marked with Arabic numerals. Multiple pushers are positioned on either side of the case - one of which activates the Bluetooth connection to your smartphone. Finally, a screw-back case ensures water resistance to 10 ATM.

The Dial

EDIFICE fuses dynamic forms with intricately designed dials and a wealth of functions. The multilayer dial features subdials inspired by a racing car dashboard, along with two sword hands. The oversized applied indices give the watch a bold, solid presence with a distinctly metallic edge. A special luminescent coating - Neobrite - ensures visibility in the dark after just a brief exposure to light. But the standout feature is undoubtedly the Bluetooth technology, which lets this watch connect to a smartphone and access a whole world of functionality.

For those who value precision: countdown timers remind you of important or recurring events with an audible signal at the set date and time. The countdown can be programmed in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance.

5 Daily Alarms

A daily alarm reminds you of your commitments at the time you set. This model comes with five independent alarms, giving you the flexibility to stay on top of every important appointment.

Day of the Week Display in Multiple Languages

The day of the week can be displayed in multiple languages.

Button Tone On/Off

The button tone can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, no beep sounds when switching between functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdown timers remain active even after the button tone is turned off.

Hand Shift Function

This function moves the hands out of the way when they obstruct the time, date, or stopwatch display.

Auto Calendar

Once set, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.

This model offers water resistance to 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - meaning it's built to handle the water. Whether you're caught in the rain or jumping into the pool, this timepiece can take it. Everyday water exposure - showers, baths, and recreational swimming - is no problem at all. That said, our Ocarat watch experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or pushers while the watch is submerged.
