The special forces mission counter. The operation that made the German police's GSG9 special unit world-famous: the rescue of the hostages aboard the Landshut aircraft on October 18, 1977 in Mogadishu. That mission became as legendary as the dive watch worn by the unit's members.
The WatchWhat sets this watch apart is its proprietary Hydro technology. The movement, dial, and hands are immersed directly in a crystal-clear liquid with a refractive index identical to that of sapphire glass, eliminating reflections on the dial and hands through the sapphire crystal. This technology delivers perfect legibility and watertight integrity at any depth.
Equipped with a black steel bracelet and a deployment clasp, this model's defining feature is its water resistance. It can keep up with your underwater adventures down to 5,000 meters (500 atmospheres), while the case itself is water-resistant to 12,000 meters. These ratings have been tested and certified by Germanischer Lloyd, a naval classification and international technical inspection company.
In search of a steel capable of withstanding extreme conditions, SINN engineers - in partnership with German submarine manufacturers - developed a process to produce small quantities of the very same steel used in German submarines. This steel is not only extraordinarily corrosion-resistant, but it also achieves the highest antimagnetic rating with zero residual magnetism.
Topped with a flat sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating, the round case is crafted from submarine steel. It measures 44 mm in diameter with a thickness of 13.3 mm and weighs 105 grams without the bracelet.
The black case is fitted with a black unidirectional rotating bezel for a visual countdown function. To prevent accidental rotation, the bezel is secured to the case in a way that ensures it cannot be lost.
The black dial features luminescent white hands and hour markers, a date window at 3:00, and a screw-down crown positioned at 10:00.
The MovementThis watch houses a Swiss ETA 955.652 quartz movement. This 7-jewel caliber displays hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. It features a Stop-Second mechanism for precise time setting to the second.
