With the SINN U 1, SINN's engineers successfully developed a dive watch whose material quality and construction deliver outstanding resistance to external influences under extreme conditions.

The Watch
In search of a steel capable of withstanding extreme conditions, SINN's engineers - in collaboration with German submarine manufacturers - developed a small-batch production process using the same steel found in German submarines. This steel is not only extraordinarily corrosion-resistant, but also achieves the highest antimagnetic rating with zero residual magnetism.

Topped by a flat sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating, the round submarine-steel case measures 44 mm in diameter, 14.3 mm thick, and weighs 113 grams. The black dial features luminescent white hands and hour markers, an orange seconds hand, and a date window at 3 o'clock. The screw-down crown is positioned at 4 o'clock.

The case features a unidirectional rotating black bezel that provides a visual countdown function. To prevent accidental rotation, the bezel is secured to the case so it cannot be lost. The steel bezel has undergone TEGIMENT anti-impact treatment - a surface-hardening technology that offers exceptional protection against scratches on stainless steel.

This watch features a silicone strap with a deployment clasp. Testing has confirmed water resistance to 100 atmospheres, equivalent to a depth of 1,000 meters - making it an ideal choice for deep-water diving. This resistance has been tested and certified by Germanischer Lloyd, the naval classification and international technical insurance company.

The Movement
This watch houses a Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement. This 26-jewel caliber displays hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. It features a Stop Seconds mechanism for precise time-setting to the second. The movement runs at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 38 hours.
