Commando Diver Automatic 200m Watch

The Watch

HGP specializes in sport-oriented timepieces distinguished by their timeless designs, durability, and precision. The brand's collections pay tribute to the history of diving, engineered for extreme conditions. From the Diver collection, HGP presents this striking Commando watch, built for underwater diving and water sports. It features a Monnin® barrel-shaped case crafted from 316L stainless steel with a brushed/polished finish. With a diameter of 42 mm, a length of 47 mm, and a thickness of 13.20 mm, it's perfectly sized for men's wrists. The case is topped by a 120-click unidirectional bezel with a black anodized aluminum insert, featuring a countdown scale and Superluminova C3 markers. A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment sits atop the case, offering outstanding scratch and shock resistance while keeping the dial easy to read. The hands are set via the screw-down crown at 3 o'clock. This timepiece is equipped with a screw-down case back providing water resistance to 20 ATM. It comes delivered with a blue canvas and brown leather pouch and a luggage tag.

The Dial

The black dial blends seamlessly with the rest of the watch, enhancing its overall elegance. A minute track followed by twelve indexes runs along its perimeter. These markers, along with the three hands pointing to them, are treated with a Superluminova C3 coating for improved visibility in dark conditions. The baton hands indicate hours and minutes, while the seconds hand tracks the seconds. Timekeeping is complemented by red Arabic numerals for military hours. Finally, the dial is signed with the H.G.P. logo at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by an automatic movement of Japanese manufacture - specifically the Seiko NH38 caliber, fitted with 24 jewels, delivering reliable hours, minutes, and seconds. The movement features a stop-seconds mechanism and offers a power reserve of 41 hours. Its oscillation frequency is 21,600 vibrations per hour.

The Strap

This model comes with two strap options to suit your preference:

The first strap is crafted from 316L stainless steel with a rice-grain link finish. In a silver tone, it features machine-milled and hand-brushed links. It has a length of 21 cm and fits wrists up to 24.50 cm. The strap measures 16 mm wide at the clasp, while the deployment buckle is 17.50 mm wide and 35 mm long.

The second strap is made from green rubber. Featuring large perforations, it measures 195 mm in length and comes with a 16 mm wide pin buckle. It is delivered with three keeper loops - two narrow ones at 6 mm and one wide at 12 mm.

Note that the lug width of both straps is 20 mm.

Water Resistance

This model is water-resistant to 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters - ready to go as deep as you do. Designed for freediving, it handles high-pressure washers on your wrist without breaking a sweat. Showers, baths, lap swimming, and breath-hold diving are all fair game. For scuba diving with tanks, however, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water-resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown while submerged to protect the movement's integrity.
