This model features a round case with a 35 mm diameter crafted in 316L stainless steel. Carefully polished, it is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal 12.8 mm thick to protect the dial from impacts. On its right, a screwed crown is flanked on both sides by two pushers for adjusting the central functions. Finally, this watch features a screwed caseback ensuring water resistance of 10 ATM.
Ideal for first responders, this watch features a pusher at 2 o'clock that lets you measure cardiac and respiratory rates. To determine beats per minute, use the red hand by counting 15 heartbeats, then stopping the chronograph and pressing the top pusher. Press the pusher at 4 o'clock to reset the dual hand, then press the first pusher again to take new measurements. For breaths per minute, the blue hand guides you: count 5 breaths, stop the chronograph, then press the same pusher again.
This dial is meticulously crafted for precise timekeeping. Its white base is elevated by a matte finish for a refined, elegant look. The perimeter features a two-tone scale with graduations for measuring cardiorespiratory rate. The red section indicates pulse while the blue section tracks respiration, each with its own unit of measure. These are read by the dual hand in blue and red at the center, which is accompanied by two sword-style hands for accurate timekeeping - the short hand for hours and the long hand for minutes. They sport a silver tone with a captivating polished finish. Together, they sweep past grey Arabic numerals alternating with lance-shaped indices around the dial. Completing the layout, a date window at 6 o'clock is paired with the inscription "courage et dévouement" at the top and the country of manufacture toward the bottom. This dial, marked "verre saphir," is signed by the brand name in black lettering at the top of 12 o'clock.
This watch is powered by a quartz movement of Japanese origin. Specifically, it uses the Miyota caliber 0S21. Reliable and robust, it delivers precise timekeeping and date accuracy along with strong vibration resistance. It runs on a 399 battery with an impressive autonomy of up to 5 years.
This watch comes with two straps measuring 18 mm wide. The first is a tricolor NATO strap echoing the colors of the French flag. Sturdy and lightweight, it offers a perfectly comfortable fit. That said, our Ocarat watch experts note that while this model is water-resistant, it is not suited for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment.
