Clubmaster Sport Acetate Chronograph Alpine Hunter Watch

The Watch
French brand Briston was born from a distinctly "British" inspiration, and that same spirit runs through every one of its singular timepieces. This quartz chronograph from the Clubmaster Sport collection strikes a balance between refined and relaxed. Wear it to the office during the week, on the weekend for a game of cricket or polo, or even for your most special occasions. Its understated palette makes it a true all-day, every-day companion. The watch features a 42x42mm cushion case crafted from hand-polished, matte-finished gray "tortoiseshell" cellulose acetate, made in Italy. The screw-back case has a straight bezel with two pushers flanking a crown fitted with two black rubber inserts and engraved with the brand's tricolor crest. The case is topped by a 316L stainless steel bezel with matte black PVD treatment, encircling a domed mineral crystal 2.3 mm thick.

The Dial
This Clubmaster Sport features a matte black top dial set against a silver-white sub-dial. The contrast makes every detail pop. Openwork baton indices in matte black PVD-treated steel line the dial's perimeter, just inside a slightly raised sloped bezel bearing a tachymeter scale - used to measure the speed of a moving object. At the center, two matte black PVD baton hands with white inserts mark the hours and minutes, joined by a slender white-lacquered hand with a red tip for the chronograph seconds. Two round black sub-dials with matte white-lacquered hands complete the layout: a 24-hour counter at three o'clock and a 60-minute counter at nine o'clock. Finally, a date window sits neatly at six o'clock.

The Movement
This timepiece is powered by a Japanese-engineered movement. Its Miyota OS21 caliber runs on a SR927W battery, giving you access to hours, minutes, seconds, 24-hour display, 60-second counter, chronograph, and date functions.

The Strap
The style of this watch extends to its gray Nato strap, crafted from nylon fibers. Its interchangeable design lets you switch things up whenever the mood strikes, and it's fully water-resistant. The pin buckle and keepers are made of matte black PVD-treated 316L polished stainless steel. The lug width is 20 mm and the strap length is 280 mm.

Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance up to 10 atmospheres - that's 100 meters. Yes, this watch can handle it! Ready to dive into aquatic adventures with you, it can go from puddles to the pool without missing a beat. Shower, bath, and recreational swimming? No problem. That said, Ocarat's watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or otherwise) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during submersion.
