The Watch

Baume & Mercier is a prestigious Swiss watchmaking house with a rich heritage, founded by brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume in 1830. Celebrated for its technical mastery - particularly its ultra-thin movements - the Maison is equally renowned for its grand complications and exceptional precision. From its iconic Clifton collection comes the 10756: a refined, contemporary timepiece perfectly suited to everyday elegance. It features a polished round case measuring 39 mm in diameter and 12.25 mm thick, crafted from premium stainless steel for lasting durability. The case is finished with a polished surface and satin-brushed sides for a distinctly distinguished look. A flat sapphire crystal covers the dial, offering a clear view while protecting against scratches. At 3 o'clock, the crown is elegantly adorned with the iconic Greek letter Ø "Phi." Precisely knurled, it ensures accurate adjustment of all watch functions. Secured by four screws, the caseback features a transparent sapphire crystal window revealing the magnificent Baumatic movement. Admire the stunning decorative details - Côtes de Genève on the skeletonized engraved rotor, a splendid perlage on the bridge, a snailed mainplate finish, and brushed gears. This caseback also ensures water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

With its subtly gradient dial, this watch commands attention through sheer elegance. The rich lacquered blue finish transitions in color with beautiful intensity. At once classic and modern, it features sophisticated trapezoid baton indexes with rhodium plating, complemented by a minute track and Arabic numerals for effortless readability. The alpha-style hour and minute hands are also rhodium-plated, while the seconds hand carries a matching silver tone. At 6 o'clock, a subdial reveals the date - highlighted on a silver, striated ring - surrounding a stunning moon phase that adds a celestial touch to the whole. This complication features a starry sky, a small hand pointing to the date numerals, and the inscription "Baumatic 5 Days." The brand signature sits proudly at 12 o'clock alongside the logo, with "Swiss Made" inscribed at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This model is powered by an exceptional automatic movement born from a collaboration between the Baume & Mercier Maison, Manufacture ValFleurier, and the Richemont Group's Research & Innovation teams. The Baumatic BM14-1975AC1 caliber features a silicon hairspring and a high-performance escapement that resists magnetic fields up to 1,500 gauss, with a power reserve of 120 hours. This high-performing movement boasts 21 jewels and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It delivers a reliable three-hand analog display with date function and moon phase complication.

The Strap

This watch comes paired with an easily interchangeable blue alligator leather strap featuring tone-on-tone topstitching on the outside and red stitching on the inside. Sophisticated yet versatile, it strikes the perfect balance between classic and contemporary, delivering the ideal finishing touch to this timepiece. Secured by a stainless steel pin buckle, it stays comfortably and elegantly on your wrist.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m - built to turn heads without sacrificing durability. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it aside on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. We strongly advise against wearing this watch while swimming or diving, as doing so risks damage and potentially costly repairs.
