The Brand

Claude Meylan traces its roots to one of the great historic watchmaking families of the Vallée de Joux.
As early as the 18th century, the Meylan family developed expertise in mechanical movements and pocket watches, making a passion for movements a family tradition. When Claude Meylan founded his watchmaking house in 1988, he carried that heritage forward by placing the movement at the heart of every creation. His approach is to “strip it bare,” revealing every element before exploring its forms, dimensions and harmonies.
