Frédérique Constant introduces a new addition to its iconic Classics collection. The FC-296DG5B6 is an ode to elegance and modernity - crafted for precision lovers with its built-in chronograph function. Equally at home in the boardroom or at an evening event, its clean, understated aesthetic speaks for itself. The stainless steel round case measures 40 mm in diameter, perfectly shaped for a men's wrist. Two chronograph push-buttons are integrated into the case, allowing you to start, stop, and reset the timer. Time and date adjustment is handled via the grooved crown at 3 o'clock, which also bears the Frédérique Constant logo. A sapphire crystal shields the dial from daily knocks and scratches - with its anti-reflective finish ensuring clear legibility in any lighting condition. The screwed caseback secures the movement and delivers a water resistance of 5 ATM. This timepiece is ready to keep up with you, every single day.

The Dial

The dial features a striking black background, elegantly adorned with various details. At 12 o'clock, the name Frédérique Constant Genève is prominently displayed, affirming the Swiss origin of your timepiece. The brand has added a double date window, allowing you to read both the day of the week and the month. The day of the week is tracked by a small seconds hand that repositions itself according to the current date. Arabic numeral markers around the outer edge of the dial make reading the date effortless. Telling the time is equally enjoyable: three gray stainless steel hands display the hours, minutes, and seconds, sweeping past baton-style hour markers and a double-circle finish housing a minute railroad track - with Arabic numeral markers spaced every 5 minutes. The chronograph function is also featured on the dial through 3 dedicated sub-dials, including 60-minute and 30-second counters for precise time measurement. Activate them using the push-buttons on the case.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a quartz movement, running on 13 jewels for smooth and precise performance. It features Frédérique Constant's Swiss in-house movement, the FC-296. The battery inside the case will power your movement for approximately 54 months - plenty of time to enjoy your timepiece before thinking about a battery change!

The Strap

Your timepiece is paired with a leather strap. In sleek black, it complements your watch while maintaining the understated elegance that defines this piece. The calfskin leather strap features a 20 mm lug width. The stitching on the strap adds an extra touch of refinement. Your strap carries the reference: FCS-B20X18 SS - making it easy to reorder if needed. The strap fastens with a pin buckle in gray stainless steel, allowing you to adjust the fit and wear your watch with confidence!

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, equivalent to 50 m. Designed to shine in any setting, its refined aesthetic doesn't come at the cost of durability. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the sink edge to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. As for swimming and diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch in the water - repairs can be costly.
