The Watch

Frédérique Constant invites you to own a piece of its signature craftsmanship with the newest addition to the Classics line: the FC-296SW5B4. Its beauty speaks for itself. The round case measures 40 mm in diameter - a refined accessory for any wrist. Crafted in stainless steel with a 5-micron rose gold plating, it gives your timepiece its distinctive warm glow. The watch comes equipped with a chronograph function, easily activated via the two pushers on the side of the case. Between them, a winding crown lets you set the time. All three buttons share the same rose gold plating for a cohesive look. A sapphire crystal shields the watch from shocks and scratches, and with 5 ATM water resistance and a screwed-down case back, your movement stays protected.

The Dial

Your white dial will brighten your days and make reading the time effortless. The strong color contrast - with all dial elements in black - lets you check the time at a glance. A double date window displays both the month and day of the week at once. The day of the month is indicated by the small seconds hand, which moves daily to point to the corresponding Arabic numeral date. Three subdials are dedicated to the chronograph function, including a 60-minute counter and a 30-second counter for precise timekeeping - each marked with Arabic numerals and baton indexes for easy reference. The time is read via 3 hands with a 5-micron rose gold plating, matching the case. These three slender hands display hours, minutes, and seconds - so you'll never be late again. A black minute railway track with Arabic numeral markers and baton indexes completes the dial - keeping everything legible while maintaining the elegance of your timepiece.

The Movement

Your quartz movement is Swiss-made, crafted by Frédérique Constant. The FC-276 caliber runs on 13 jewels, ensuring smooth and precise performance. Quartz movements require a battery to operate - but this one delivers an impressive lifespan of 54 months. Plenty of time to enjoy your timepiece.

The Strap

The leather strap comes in a rich dark brown tone that highlights and enhances the rosy hue of the case. Crafted from calfskin leather, it brings a soft, luxurious feel to everyday wear. The 20 mm lug width is perfectly proportioned to the case size. An ardillon buckle lets you adjust the strap to your wrist, and its rose gold-plated finish doubles as the clasp.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It's designed to be as beautiful as it is resilient. That said, while you can technically wear it in the shower, the Ocarat team recommends leaving it gently on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. For swimming and diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch to avoid damage and costly repairs.
