The Watch

Frédérique Constant presents itself as a Swiss manufacture that has developed 31 calibers in-house in just 35 years of existence. Founded in 1988, the independent watchmaking house has become a key player in haute horlogerie, crafting exceptional, high-quality timepieces. It now introduces its new automatic FC-735 caliber, making its debut in the Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture. This elegant watch is highly prized for its refined aesthetic and embodies Swiss craftsmanship at its finest. It features a beautiful round case crafted in stainless steel, measuring 40 mm in diameter with a thickness of 12.20 mm. Its fully polished surface enhances the model's charm and creates a harmonious contrast. On the right side, a stylish, sturdy round crown complements the case perfectly. Its grooved texture ensures a secure grip and allows adjustment of the central elements. Above the dial, a slightly domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating provides optimal legibility and superior scratch protection. The case back is open, revealing the movement's inner workings. This screwed back ensures water resistance to 5 ATM.

The Dial

This watch features a stunning dial that tells the time with both efficiency and elegance. Its clean, refined design showcases a blue base brought to life by a sunray finish. Between 2 and 3 o'clock, a large date window adds everyday practicality. The hours are marked by geometric applied indices in silver - faceted and polished - tracked by two alpha hands, the shorter for hours and the longer for minutes. They are joined by a slender seconds hand for precise seconds tracking. Rounding out this exceptional dial, a moon phase counter and a dedicated power reserve indicator add both functionality and visual depth. The brand's signature sits just below 12 o'clock, with the origin indicated opposite.

The Movement

Frédérique Constant is proud to unveil its thirty-eighth Manufacture caliber, the FC-735, in this watch. It is an automatic movement beating at a frequency of 28,800 vph and delivering a power reserve of 50 hours. This movement features 32 jewels and drives the central elements with precision.

The Strap

This model is fitted with an elegant blue strap that highlights the beauty of the case. Hand-stitched in alligator leather, it brings a luxurious touch that flatters the wrist. It measures 18 mm at the buckle end and 20 mm at the lug width, with a size of 75 x 115 mm. A secure, comfortable fit is ensured by a deployment clasp.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance to 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Designed to impress in any setting, its refined appearance doesn't compromise its resilience. You can wear it in the shower - though the Ocarat team kindly recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to preserve its finish and integrity over time. Swimming and scuba diving, however, are not recommended, as water exposure beyond its rated depth may cause damage and result in repair costs.
