Citizen designed this one with gentlemen in mind. The AW0102-13AC watch brings effortless elegance to the wrist, with every detail considered in this sophisticated timepiece from the Dress collection. The 40mm diameter case is crafted entirely in stainless steel with a gold PVD coating, and features a knurled crown at 3 o'clock for easy adjustment of the hours and minutes. The dial is protected by a sturdy flat mineral crystal, highly regarded in watchmaking for its durability. On the caseback, the snap-on case back ensures a water resistance of 3 ATM.
The dial features a stunning ivory white finish that preserves the elegance of the overall design. The guilloché-patterned base has a beautiful sunray finish. The gold PVD hour markers create striking contrast. Doubled, these markers are thoughtfully placed around the dial, with a minute track for precise timekeeping. At the center, two gold dauphine hands are joined by a slim seconds hand. A date window at 6 o'clock adds a practical touch, while the Citizen signature sits beneath the 12 o'clock index alongside a day window in English.
This watch features Citizen's innovative Eco-Drive technology. It powers the analog watch using light - the Solar Quartz movement generates energy even in low-light conditions. A full charge keeps most Eco-Drive models running in complete darkness for up to six months, eliminating the hassle and cost of regular battery replacements.
Completing this gold PVD piece, the strap features a refined 21mm lug width. Crafted in genuine dark brown leather with an alligator pattern - showcasing its wide scales - the tone-on-tone stitching runs along both edges. The clasp is a gold ardillon buckle, and the strap fits wrists from 160 to 200 mm, ensuring a comfortable fit.
This watch offers a water resistance of 3 atmospheres (30m). It's designed for everyday elegance - not aquatic adventures. It'll shine at parties and receptions, but water is not its element. Rain, splashes, and dishwater? No problem. But we strongly advise against wearing it in the shower, bath, or while swimming and diving.
