The Watch

Today, Lotus presents the Chronograph 18990/1 watch, designed to adorn the wrists of men. It features a round silver case crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel, measuring a commanding 41 mm in diameter, protected by a mineral crystal above the dial. The dial's time indicators are operated by a grey crown flanked by two pushers on the right side. The crown is protected and features a knurled profile for a secure grip. The case back provides water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

This dial is meticulously crafted for reliable timekeeping at a glance. Clean and uncluttered, it features a white sunray-finished background that radiates a striking brilliance. The rim displays a minute track made up of Arabic numerals in groups of 5, alternating with black markers. These are followed by baton-style hour markers that are swept by three grey hands at the center. The long and short hands track the minutes and hours respectively, both coated with a luminescent treatment for optimal low-light readability. The slender seconds hand with a red tip counts the seconds for the Chronograph function. Three additional sub-dials are positioned at 3, 6, and 12 o'clock, displaying the 24-hour indicator, small seconds, and 30-minute chronograph counter respectively. At the bottom, the water resistance is noted at 6 o'clock, while the brand logo and collection name appear just below the 12 o'clock index as a signature.

The Movement

Beating at the heart of this watch is a quartz movement engineered to resist vibrations - specifically the Miyota JS20 caliber, of Japanese origin. This mechanism ensures precise hand and counter readings, and its battery powers the timepiece for an autonomy of approximately 3 years.

The Strap

This stunning strap delivers everyday wearing comfort you'll actually notice. Crafted from bovine leather - supple, sturdy, and built to last - it comes in a rich brown tone with white stitching for a handsome contrast. It conforms naturally to the wrist and pairs effortlessly with any accessory. The lug width is 21 mm, and the pin buckle at 19 mm makes daily adjustments a breeze.

Water Resistance

With water resistance rated at 50 meters - or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms - this timepiece holds its own around water, though it isn't built for prolonged exposure. A quick shower here and there is fine, but to preserve the quality and precision of the movement, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from baths, pools, and the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended contact or submersion.
