Casio is a legendary Japanese brand pushing the boundaries of watchmaking innovation. The Casio Collection line stands out for its classic and sport-chic designs. From this lineup, the MDV-107D-1A1VEF features a barrel-shaped case crafted in stainless steel, measuring 46.30 mm in diameter, 12.10 mm thick, and 49.50 mm lug-to-lug, weighing 144 grams. Built tough and made to last, the case is fitted with a black rotating bezel turning counter-clockwise, with a knurled edge printed with a minute track and a luminescent marker. The case is topped by a mineral crystal, while the right side features a screwed-down crown for setting the hours, minutes, and date. The screw-down case back ensures a water resistance of 20 ATM.
The dial of this model features a clean, classic black base with an inner bezel framed by a very fine minute track to delineate the time markers. Baton indices mark 3, 6, and 9 o'clock - doubled at 12 - while the remaining hours are represented by round dot markers. All are pointed to by lance hands and a red seconds hand with an arrow tip. These elements feature a Neobrite coating for legibility in the dark. The date window at 3 o'clock offers clear readability thanks to its white background. The brand name sits below 12 o'clock, and the collection name appears above 6 o'clock.
The analog display of this model is driven by a reliable and precise quartz movement of Japanese origin, powered by a battery with an autonomy of approximately 3 years.
This watch features a handsome stainless steel bracelet finished with a deployment clasp. It is made up of three rows of links, with the center row elegantly decorated with two polished-finish lines, while the entire bracelet surface sports a brushed finish.
This model delivers a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. A serious companion for deep-water adventures - this watch is built for freediving! Fearless in the water, you can even use high-pressure washers with it on your wrist. Shower, bath, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. For scuba diving with tanks, however, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the movement's integrity.
