Boldr is a young watchmaking brand that has built a strong following in just a few years. Paying tribute to adventure lovers, it unveils its GMT Maasai Mara - designed to be the go-to travel companion for explorers crossing the globe. Its barrel-shaped case is crafted in 316L stainless steel with a 40 mm diameter and a lug-to-lug length of 48 mm. It features a bicolor fixed bezel marked in 24 hours to handle the GMT function, fitted with a blue aluminum insert and Arabic numerals treated with Japanese Luminova. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock handles hours and minutes adjustment. The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating for clear readability and excellent scratch resistance. The sapphire crystal case back lets you admire the movement's mechanics while ensuring water resistance to 20 ATM.
Refined and timeless, the Maasai Mara GMT features a stunning California-style dial. Its matte blue background is dressed with a mix of marker types that give it a distinctive character: Arabic numerals at 4, 5, 7, and 8 o'clock; Roman numerals at 1, 2, 10, and 11 o'clock; and geometric indices. A precise railroad minute track in white runs along the outer edge. The two hands indicating hours and minutes are coated with Japanese Luminova®, as are the indices and the GMT scale. The slim gray seconds hand tracks the seconds, while the 4th arrow hand points to GMT hours. The brand logo and name sit just below 12 o'clock, and the model specs are noted at 6 o'clock.
This Boldr watch is powered by a Japanese-made NH34 GMT automatic movement. Reliable and precise, it drives the hands for analog display of hours, minutes, and seconds. This mechanism features 24 jewels and beats at a frequency of 21,600 alternations/hour, giving the watch a power reserve of 41 hours.
The silver-toned bracelet on this timepiece delivers a polished, elegant look. Crafted in 316L stainless steel, it offers exceptional comfort. Built from interlocking links, it measures 20 mm wide and secures with a deployant clasp.
This model is water resistant to 20 atmospheres - that's 200 meters. Whether you're free diving or tackling high-pressure water jets, this watch can handle it all. Showering, bathing, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. That said, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to keep the movement fully protected.
