Founded in 1980, Lotus is a Spanish watchmaker known for sporty, modern timepieces. Meet the Blue Multifunction Watch 18812/1 - a contemporary, forward-thinking design that makes an instant impression. It comes in a round case crafted from 316L stainless steel measuring 42 mm in diameter. Beautifully finished, it houses a flat mineral crystal over the dial and a grooved crown on the right side. Positioned at 3 o'clock, the crown handles hours, minutes, and all other complications with ease. The case also features a silver-tone bezel engraved with a black minute scale. The caseback delivers 5 ATM water resistance.
The dial is beautifully crafted with a rich blue sunray finish. Its outer edge features a minute track marked by white lines and 5-minute divisions. Bar-shaped hour indices - along with the hour, minute, and second hands - are treated with a luminescent coating for excellent visibility in low light. The hands themselves stand out with a dauphine shape for the hour hand, an arrow shape for the minute hand, and a red seconds hand. For added functionality, three sunray sub-dials with white outlines display 24-hour time, the day of the week, and the date. The 12 o'clock position features an Arabic numeral, while the brand name at 3 o'clock is accompanied by the watch's complications and movement type.
This model is powered by a Miyota 6P27 quartz movement of Japanese origin. Reliable and accurate, it runs on an Sr621sw battery that drives the three hands and sub-dials with precision.
This watch is mounted on a sleek 316L stainless steel bracelet in silver tone. Its satin-finished link construction measures 20.80 mm wide and fastens with a double push-button deployment clasp.
This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Designed to turn heads, its refined look doesn't come at the cost of durability. You can wear it in the shower - though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to keep it looking its best, longer. Swimming and diving are a no-go: exposing this watch to those conditions risks damage and costly repairs.
