The Automatic Olive Green Watch 2152-1 by Bauhaus is a true eye-catcher. Drawing from the world of aviation, this watch pairs vintage design with understated elegance - a guaranteed hit for watch and aviation enthusiasts alike. It features a round case measuring 41 mm in diameter and 11 mm thick, crafted in polished stainless steel. A domed mineral glass crystal sits above the dial, shielding it from the everyday bumps and scrapes of daily life. The crown on the right at 3 o'clock is used to adjust the dial's display. Finally, this timepiece features a screwed and transparent case back water-resistant to 5 ATM, offering a captivating view of the oscillating weight inside.
This round dial features a soft beige tone that lends the model its vintage character. Clean and minimalist, it carries three hands at its center indicating the hours, minutes, and seconds - each in a distinct color. The hour and second hands are brown, while the minute hand is black. They point to baton indexes accompanied by Arabic numerals and a subtle minute track running along the dial's edge. A date window at 3 o'clock adds precision to the display. The brand signs its timepiece below 12 o'clock and references the movement and origin with the "Made in Germany" mention on the lower portion of the dial.
This timepiece is powered by a Swiss automatic movement - specifically the ETA 2824 caliber, featuring 25 jewels, which drives the hour, minute, and second hands as well as the date window. This mechanism is renowned for its long-term robustness and horological precision.
To complement the case, Bauhaus has selected an olive green leather strap with a 20 mm lug width. Supple and comfortable, it bears the brand's signature and conforms naturally to the curves of your wrist. It fastens with a silver-tone pin buckle for effortless adjustment.
This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Beautifully crafted to turn heads, it holds its own against everyday exposure to the elements. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. Swimming and diving are not recommended, as water damage could lead to costly repairs.
