The Watch

Edox was born from founder Christian Ruefli-Flury's passion for watchmaking. Recognized by its iconic hourglass logo, the brand consistently pushes boundaries to meet the most demanding expectations. Through the SkyDiver collection, it offers watches that are reimaginings of the iconic 1960s and '70s models that achieved tremendous success. The 80131-37RNC-NI model from this line combines the practical functionality and versatile features of a true dive watch. It sports a round stainless steel case with a rose PVD treatment for a modern, wrist-flattering look, measuring 38 mm in diameter and 13.70 mm in thickness for an average weight of 89 grams. Its charming sporty aesthetic continues with a unidirectional bezel surrounding the domed sapphire crystal that shields the central elements from shocks. Crafted in rose gold PVD stainless steel, the bezel features a black ceramic insert marked with a luminescent marker at 12 o'clock and a minute track for tracking elapsed dive time. On the right side, the oversized screw-down crown with a double O-ring handles setting of hours, minutes, and date. Finally, the screw-down case back is beautifully engraved with a parachute with wings above the Edox logo, promising a water resistance of 30 ATM.

The Dial

The dial of this watch was designed to deliver smooth, clear time reading in any environment. Against a black background, rose-toned indicators coated with SuperLuminova ensure excellent legibility in low-light conditions. At the center, two dauphine hands indicate the hours via the shorter hand pointing to trapezoidal indices, and the minutes via the longer hand sweeping around the minute track with white elongated graduations at the edge. For added precision, a date window with a white background replaces the 3 o'clock index. Finally, the brand's signature sits below 12 o'clock, while watch-specific information is displayed at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

At the heart of the case beats the Edox 80 automatic movement based on the Sellita SW200. It delivers a power reserve of 38 hours, oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and features 26 jewels, offering a three-hand analog display with accurate date function.

The Strap

This watch comes with two bovine leather straps to mix and match styles at will. Each one offers great comfort and secures to your wrist with a pin buckle in rose gold PVD steel signed by the brand. Easily interchangeable, they measure 20 mm at the lug width.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 30 atmospheres, equivalent to 300 meters, all that's left is for our watch specialists to wish you a great aquatic adventure. Fully waterproof, this model goes everywhere with you - shower, bath, swimming, freediving, or scuba diving, it handles it all. That said, to keep the water resistance intact, our watchmakers recommend not operating the pusher or crown while diving.
