This is the case with the 32043A watch from the Antarctic GMT collection - an outstanding model for adventure lovers. It features a barrel-shaped case crafted from 316L stainless steel, a material prized for its durability. It benefits from a brushed finish that enhances its silver tone and gives it a beautiful visual presence. It measures 36 mm in diameter, 11.10 mm in thickness, and 40 mm in length - proportions suited to men's wrists. It is protected by a domed plexiglass crystal that guards against everyday shocks and provides a clear view of the dial's various time indicators. This magnificent case is fitted with two knurled crowns - one to control the internal bezel and the other to adjust the central functions. This beautiful watch features a gold-toned screw-down caseback that ensures water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 meters, and is engraved with a penguin, the name, and the collection.

The Dial

The striking design of this dial elevates the beauty of the timepiece. It showcases a retro aesthetic that pays homage to the 1970s, with a black background that keeps all time indicators crisp and easy to read. It features three silver hands pointing to the minute track and to the varied indexes around the perimeter to indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds. The fourth hand stands out with its distinctive checkered pattern, displaying the hours of the second time zone by pointing to the inner rotating ring marked with a two-tone graduated scale that creates a striking contrast against the dial background. The hands and indexes are coated with SuperLuminova C3 for excellent legibility in the dark, and the date window at 3 o'clock displays today's date. Above 6 o'clock, the inscription "Antarctic GMT" appears as additional information, while at 12 o'clock, the brand signs the model with its name and logo.

The Movement

The watch is powered by an automatic movement. It features caliber C125, produced by Soprod. Of Swiss origin, it beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and incorporates 25 jewels that minimize friction. It delivers a power reserve of 42 hours and will keep up with all your activities. This caliber is based on the Soprod A10-2 - now designated M100 - and includes a GMT module, ensuring precise, clear reading of the hands and GMT function at all times.

These three straps have a buckle width of 16 mm and a lug width of 20 mm.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. The watch is designed to be strikingly beautiful and shine in any social setting. That said, its refined aesthetic in no way compromises its ability to withstand the elements. You can keep it on in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it gently on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. For swimming and scuba diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch, as doing so could damage it and result in repair costs.
