The Watch

Founded in 2008, Mach Lab is a French watchmaking brand crafting innovative, subtle, and charismatic timepieces inspired by the 1970s. Its Oblongue collection features watches with a vintage design and a modern, contemporary twist that pairs perfectly with any outfit. Represented here by the Amiral model, this prestigious watch pays tribute to French women and embodies timeless elegance through exceptional craftsmanship. The case stands out on the wrist with its distinctive oblong shape and polished and brushed finishes. Crafted from 316L stainless steel with a yellow gold PVD treatment, it delivers an attractive tone and enhanced long-term durability. It measures 20 mm in width and 40 mm in length from lug to lug, with a thickness of 8.40 mm. The surface is covered by a beveled mineral crystal that reinforces the retro-vintage look, while its anti-reflective coating ensures excellent dial legibility. The sculptural oblong crown at 4 o'clock is a testament to the brand's attention to detail - it handles the setting of hours and minutes. On the back, a screwed caseback provides a water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

This watch features a vintage-inspired dial that blends heritage and modernity, delivering the time with elegant simplicity. Minimalist in design, it showcases a rich deep blue tone enhanced by a sunray finish that brings the dial to life. Two matching pointed baton hands indicate the hours and minutes - the short hand for hours, the long hand for minutes. The finishing touch is the brand's beautifully stylized logo placed just below 12 o'clock, followed by its name, while at 6 o'clock you'll find the Made In France inscription.

The Movement

The analog display of this model is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement - specifically the Ronda 1024 caliber. Reliable and accurate, it requires no servicing other than a battery replacement when needed, and will keep the hands running with quiet efficiency.

The Strap

This watch comes with three straps to choose from via the drop-down menu. All three measure 10 mm in width at the lug and are distinguished by their polished-brushed finish clasps engraved with intertwined lines representing the brand's logo.

The first is a kidskin leather strap in a rich black tone that pairs elegantly with the case's golden hue. Comfortable with a slightly grained surface, it fastens around the wrist with a pin buckle in a warm yellow gold tone.

The second strap is an elegant complement that offers a pleasant feel on the wrist. It is crafted from blue alligator leather, in harmony with the dial's color. It also features a pin buckle for a secure and reliable fit.

The third strap is a refined curb-link bracelet that highlights the watch's sophisticated look and complements any outfit. Crafted from 316L stainless steel with gold PVD and polished treatments for an even more attractive finish. Lightweight and comfortable, it sits perfectly on the wrist and is secured with a clip clasp.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 5 atmospheres - equivalent to 50 meters - this watch is your first step into the world of water resistance. While it's not designed for bathing, lap swimming, or scuba diving, you can afford to forget to take it off in the shower. That said, our team of experts recommends keeping this timepiece dry to preserve its movement for years to come.
