To mark the launch of this new collection, March Lab unveils an ultra-limited edition of just 133 pieces - the AM2 "Shades" - never to be reissued. Part of the AM2 collection, this black watch is made to turn heads on men's wrists. It features a square case crafted in black DLC stainless steel with a brushed finish for a sophisticated look. Dimensions: 39 mm long, 39 mm wide, and 12.25 mm thick. A domed sapphire crystal shields the dial from scratches, with an anti-reflective coating to minimize glare. Hours, minutes, date, and time zone are set via the screw-down crown at 4 o'clock. The screw-down case back ensures 10 ATM water resistance. The sapphire-treated green crystal offers a window into the movement.

The Dial

The striking dial features a black finish in perfect harmony with the watch. Its guilloché texture adds a refined, understated elegance. The bezel is ringed with a 24-hour time zone scale, tracked by the perforated green GMT fourth hand. The gray indices and the two central hands are coated with a luminescent finish for excellent low-light readability. They indicate hours and minutes, while the slender seconds hand completes the trio. Timekeeping is rounded out by a minute track and a date window at 6 o'clock. The brand name is signed at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

Powered by an automatic movement by La Joux Perret, this Franco-Swiss-made caliber - precisely the G110 - drives the hands and date window with precision. It delivers a power reserve of 68 hours and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The lug width is 22 mm.

Water Resistance

With 100-meter water resistance - that's 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece transitions effortlessly from black-tie events to the water. That said, our watch experts are clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or high-pressure water jets. Keep it simple - shower, bath, and swimming only, and avoid operating the pushers or crown while submerged.
