The Watch

The Franco-Swiss brand Ralf Tech invites you to discover its limited-edition watch "Sunrise" ACY 1108. Part of the Académie collection, this stunning vintage-inspired dress watch was designed by Frank Huyghe in 2015 as a tribute to his grandfather. The case is crafted from 316L stainless steel in a round shape with a 41 mm diameter. Effortlessly stylish, this watch is a natural fit for any man's wardrobe. A sapphire crystal of the "Glassbox" type sits above the dial, providing reliable protection against everyday shocks. Its anti-reflective coating ensures optimal readability at any time of day. A screw-down crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the hands with ease. Finally, thanks to its screw-down case back, this watch is water-resistant to 200 meters.

The Dial

The dial is round and features a striking azure blue color that brings a modern touch to this timepiece. At its center, two baton hands and a slender seconds hand in applied steel sweep across hour, minute, and second markers represented by baton indices and a railroad minute track. To keep you on time even in low light, the hands and indices are coated with Superluminova C1 luminescent treatment.

The Movement

Powering this watch's analog display is an automatic movement of caliber RTA003, built on a Seiko NH36 base - renowned for its precision and reliability. With 24 jewels, it delivers a beat frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 44 hours.

The Strap

The brand chose to equip this timepiece with a hand-stitched, vintage-patinated calfskin leather strap. In anthracite gray, it is elevated by gray topstitching that adds a quality finish. For a more casual look, a second black silicone strap is also available. Both straps fasten with a gray pin buckle, allowing you to adjust the fit for a secure, comfortable wear. Please note that the lug width is 22 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters - this model confidently earns the title of dive watch. Our watchmaking experts agree: while it handles showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba diving with ease, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving where pressure would exceed its limits. For professional divers tackling serious depth challenges, we recommend models rated 30 atmospheres and above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while underwater, to maintain a perfect seal.
