The Watch
Meet a Ralf Tech timepiece built for men who want a practical, vintage-inspired watch ready for any adventure. With its dual day/date window and white indexes so characteristic of the 1960s, this model delivers effortless retro style. The case of this watch - named "Driver" - measures 41 mm in diameter, crafted in brushed surgical-grade steel (316L) renowned for its durability, hypoallergenic properties, and resistance to deformation. The case is topped with a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The crown is positioned at 3 o'clock and screws down to ensure genuine water resistance to 200 meters. The caseback is also screwed and engraved with the watch's individual serial number.
The Dial
The dial of this timepiece is round, in an understated matte black finish. It features 12 luminescent white indexes (treated with SuperLuminova C1) styled after a car dashboard gauge scale. A minute railroad track runs along the outer edge of the dial within a white ring, ensuring excellent minute readability. Two luminescent silver hands mark the hours and minutes, while a slimmer hand sweeps the seconds smoothly. The day and date are displayed in a dual window at 3 o'clock. The Ralf Tech brand name in white is positioned at 12 o'clock.
The Movement
This model houses an automatic self-winding mechanical movement RTA003 based on the NH36 caliber, with a theoretical power reserve of 42 hours. This 24-jewel caliber delivers hours, minutes, seconds, day, and date via a window display. It offers solid reliability thanks to its frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
The Strap
This watch is delivered in a superb vintage taupe calfskin travel case. It comes equipped with 2 straps to suit every occasion: one in black satin-finished calfskin leather with black stitching, and a second "tropic" strap in silicone with a 22 mm lug width. The silicone strap is black, perfectly suited for water activities. Both straps fasten with a silver-tone pin buckle.
Water Resistance
This model offers water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. Gentlemen, this is a watch that can go wherever your aquatic pursuits take you - including freediving! And since water holds no fear for this timepiece, you can even use a high-pressure washer while wearing it. Shower, bath, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. That said, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water-resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged, to protect the integrity of the movement.
