Limited Edition of 100 pieces.
The Watch
This model is a limited edition from the Académie collection by watchmaker Ralf Tech. The collection is defined by refined, highly elegant timepieces. This 100-piece limited edition brings exceptional flair to men's wrists. The case is crafted in 316L surgical steel with a full-case polish. It measures 41.00mm in diameter and 14.50mm in thickness. A versatile everyday companion, it pairs effortlessly with both casual and dressed-up looks. The crown sits in its traditional position at 3 o'clock and is screw-down for enhanced water resistance. A domed sapphire crystal (Glass Box type) magnifies and protects the dial. Sapphire is scratch-resistant and this particular crystal features an anti-reflective coating for outstanding dial visibility. The screw-down case back is engraved with the Franco-Swiss manufacture's name, the collection name, and the watch's serial number. Ralf Tech proves once again that its imagination and creativity know no bounds.
The Dial
Perfectly round, this dial features a light grey background. At 12 o'clock, the watchmaker's name is printed in black, commanding the dial's visual focus. The hour markers are silver rectangular indices with beveled edges - a detail that adds brilliant sparkle to the dial. A black minute track runs along the dial's perimeter. Both the hour and minute hands are also beveled. Note that the indices and hands feature SuperLuminova lume, ensuring optimal legibility in any light conditions. SuperLuminova is a phosphorescent paint that produces a strong glow in dark environments - particularly useful for underwater use, where light fades rapidly at depth. At 6 o'clock, you'll find the inscription "660ft / 200m Automatic", referencing both the movement type and the watch's water resistance rating.
The Movement
Inside the case beats a self-winding mechanical movement manufactured by Ralf Tech. This is caliber RTA003 (based on the NH36 caliber), featuring 21 jewels and running at 21,600 vph. It displays hours, minutes, and seconds via analog hands, with a power reserve of 42 hours.
The Strap
The watch is delivered in a beautiful vintage calf travel case in taupe. Inside, you'll find the watch fitted with a grey tweed strap, along with a second "tropic" strap in black silicone. Both straps fasten with a silver-tone pin buckle. The lug width is 22mm and the buckle measures 20mm wide.
Water Resistance
With a water resistance of 20 ATM (200 meters), this model can confidently be called a dive watch. That said, a word on semantics: while our watchmaking experts agree this timepiece handles showers, baths, lap swimming, and freediving with ease, it is not rated for professional scuba diving with tanks, where pressure would exceed its limits. For professional divers, we recommend models rated 30 ATM and above. We also advise against operating pushers or the crown while submerged, to preserve a perfect seal.
