The Watch

Japanese watchmaker Casio presents its A168WG-9EF model from the Casio Vintage collection. Designed for both men and women, this watch pairs effortlessly with any everyday outfit. It features an octagonal resin case measuring 36 mm in diameter, 38 mm in length, and 9.6 mm in thickness - dimensions that deliver optimal legibility. The dial is shielded from shocks and scratches by an acrylic crystal. Three pushers are positioned on either side of the case to access the various functions. Note that this watch is water-resistant thanks to its screw-secured case back.

The Dial

This watch features a rectangular digital dial. Gold-toned, it displays all your data on a gray-background screen. At the center, you can read hours, minutes, and seconds via a digital display, as well as the day and date. The time can be shown in 12-hour or 24-hour format, as you prefer. Thanks to its Illuminator function, your jewelry piece is just as readable by night as by day. The top-left corner of the screen shows data for the available functions, which are detailed below. Finally, the brand signs its name at the top of the dial and notes its water resistance at the bottom.

The Functions

Illuminator
Press the button and the electroluminescent backlight lights up the dial for easy time reading in the dark.

Stopwatch Function - 1/100 sec - 1 hr
Elapsed time, split times, and total time are measured with 1/100th-of-a-second precision, up to a maximum of one hour.

Daily Alarm
An audible alarm reminds you of your daily commitments at the programmed time.

Auto Calendar
Once set, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.
You can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

The Movement

This digital watch is powered by a Japanese-made electronic movement. Hours, minutes, and seconds, along with the date and all other functions, are displayed with precision and reliability. Note that the battery offers an approximate lifespan of 7 years.

The Bracelet

To elevate the elegance of this timepiece, the watch features a stainless steel bracelet with yellow gold PVD coating. It will stand up to your every move and fastens effortlessly with a deployant clasp.

Water Resistance

This model is water-resistant per ISO 22810 and handles light splashes with ease. That said, it is not designed for use in water. You can keep it on while washing your hands or doing light household chores, but the Ocarat team strongly recommends leaving it on your nightstand before jumping in the shower or bath - and in the hotel safe before taking a dip in the pool or the crystal-clear sea on your vacation.
