The Watch

Founded in 1961, Sinn is a company that embodies German craftsmanship. Its timepieces are prized for their exceptional quality, durability, reliability, attractive design, and impeccable performance. The brand launches the 356 Flieger Classique W Cuir Leather Watch to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 356 PILOT collection. This edition was originally developed for the Japanese market, which wanted a more refined version of the 256 pilot chronograph. Following its great success, Sinn chose to integrate it into its collection in 1998. The new edition is a stunning vintage-style pilot chronograph with undeniable aesthetic appeal and technical refinement. This watch comes in a round case crafted from stainless steel in a silver tone, enhanced with a micro-blasted finish. Its perfectly balanced proportions will suit your wrist beautifully: a diameter of 38.50 mm, a weight of 71 g, and a thickness of 15.60 mm. It is fitted with a double-domed acrylic crystal that shields the central elements from shocks that could mar their appearance. The screwed-down, protected, and neatly notched crown sits at 3 o'clock for setting the hour and minute hands, flanked on either side by two piston-style pushers for operating the chronograph. The case back is domed and screw-down, providing a water resistance of 10 ATM. It is also worth noting that this watch features proprietary low-pressure resistance that pays tribute to its aeronautical heritage, meeting the technical requirements of DIN 8310.

The Dial

The dial features an exceptional classic design that delivers outstanding legibility and remarkable clarity. Finished in white with a satin surface, it displays a Bicompax layout for easy reading. This "Panda" dial is beautifully defined by black sub-dials showing the 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and the small seconds at 9 o'clock. Bold black Arabic numerals provide precise timekeeping and create a striking contrast against the white base. They're paired with rectangular indices filled with luminescent coating for clear visibility even in low-light conditions. These markers are accompanied by a minute track running around the dial perimeter, coupled with a fine scale marking quarter seconds for quick short-term timing. Low-light legibility is further ensured by luminescent coating applied to the "baton" hands and the tip of the seconds hand, whose black color creates a beautiful contrast with the overall design. Completing the dial, the brand has placed the inscription "FLIEGER KLASSIK" at 6 o'clock and the SINN logo at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a Swiss-made automatic SW510 movement. Built for precision, it features 27 jewels and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. With a solid power reserve of 56 hours, this caliber includes a stop-seconds function and delivers reliable analog display with a chronograph complication. It is also worth noting that this movement offers protection against magnetic fields in accordance with DIN 8309.

The Strap

This model comes with your choice of two elegant, comfortable straps, each 20 mm wide at the lug and fitted with a pin buckle. Select your preferred strap using the dropdown menu.

The first strap is crafted from black calfskin leather with a smooth finish for a soft feel. Classic and timeless, it pairs effortlessly with any style.

The second strap is crafted from black alligator-embossed calfskin leather. With a vintage feel, it is elevated by white stitching that creates the perfect contrast and adds a sophisticated touch.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. We're talking about a truly water-resistant watch! With its easygoing style, this timepiece is ready to take the plunge alongside you - from puddles to the pool, it handles splashes, showers, baths, and recreational swimming without complaint. That said, our Ocarat watch experts want to note that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or otherwise) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers clear of water during immersion.
