Celebrated for its bold-designed, rugged timepieces, French watchmaker Yema invites you to discover its latest watch: the Superman Worldtime Steel. Born in the 1960s, the Superman was originally designed for nautical use and chosen to grace the wrists of French Air Force pilots. Iconic and enduring, it remains one of the brand's most legendary references. This timepiece features a brushed 316L stainless steel case measuring 39 mm in diameter and 13.7 mm thick. The men's model is fitted with a unidirectional GMT rotating bezel in steel, graduated with engraved Arabic numeral indices in a 24-hour format and featuring a luminescent triangle marker at 12 o'clock. A robust double-dome sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the classic screw-down crown sits at 3 o'clock. At the same position, a bezel lock - a dive-ready safety feature present on every Superman since 1963 - keeps the bezel secure.

The Dial

The round black dial features a matte finish. For optimal legibility in any conditions, the rounded indices are oversized - and those at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock take on a distinctive shape. A minute track runs along the dial's perimeter for added precision. The white indices against the black dial create a striking contrast. At the center, you'll find 4 hands: sword and lance-style hands mark the hours and minutes, while the seconds are indicated by the iconic chromed seconds hand tipped with a shovel-shaped lume plot. A black GMT hand with a red and white triangle tip lets you track up to 3 time zones using the rotating bezel - perfect for the frequent traveler. All indices and hands feature Superluminova treatment for flawless dark-condition readability. A date window sits at 3 o'clock.

The Movement

The Superman Worldtime Steel is the first model to house the brand's new GMT YEMA3000 caliber. A high-performance powerhouse, this reliable and precise automatic movement features 29 jewels and an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vph. It displays hours, minutes, seconds, date, and 3 time zones. Power reserve stands at 42 hours.

The Bracelet
