The Watch

It features a round case crafted from brushed 316L stainless steel. In silver, it measures 40 mm in diameter, 48 mm lug-to-lug, and 13 mm thick - dimensions that will suit men's wrists perfectly. The case also features a black unidirectional knurled bezel with 120 clicks and a luminescent marker, made from 316L stainless steel with black PVD treatment and displaying world city time zones. A domed hesalite crystal sits atop the case, offering a beautiful view of the dial. Assembled and tested in France, this timepiece ships with a canvas and green leather watch roll. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock allows for easy adjustment of the hands and date window. Finally, the screw-down caseback features an engraving of this legendary aircraft and ensures 12 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

This round dial features a black background that complements the rest of the watch. Its perimeter is lined with a minute track paired with blue Arabic numerals and indices. These, along with the two hands that sweep across them, are treated with SuperLuminova C7 for visibility in low light. The hands indicate the hours and minutes, while the slender red seconds hand keeps track of the seconds. A date window at 3 o'clock completes the time display. The dial is signed with the Douglas logo near 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a Japanese automatic movement - specifically the Miyota 8315 caliber, fitted with 21 jewels for reliable indicator performance. The movement features a stop-seconds device and delivers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours, oscillating at 21,600 vph.

The Strap

The strap on this limited edition is made from black nylon. Extremely comfortable, it measures 270 mm in length with a 20 mm lug width. It features a bund strap pad in hand-stitched vegetable-tanned Italian leather, measuring 100 mm long and 33 mm wide. This men's strap fastens easily with a 20 mm steel pin buckle.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 12 atmospheres - 120 meters. In short: it's built to get wet. Whether you're splashing through puddles or diving into the pool, this watch handles it all without complaint. Showers, baths, and lap swimming? No problem. That said, our watch experts do note that while this model is water-resistant, it is not rated for diving (professional or otherwise) and is sensitive to high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers clear of any operation while submerged.
