In partnership with a fine jewelry house founded in the mid-20th century, we are proud to present on our website a representative selection of their collections.
This stunning pendant, available in yellow gold 375/1000 (9K) or 750/1000 (18K), depicts the "magen" David - the Star of David. Until the 15th century, the Star of David, also known as the Seal of Solomon, was a protective magical symbol found on amulets. It only became the symbol of Judaism - much as the crucifix represents Christianity - following the expulsion of Jews from Spain in the 15th century, further spread through the rise of the printing press.
A traditional Judaic pendant measuring 25 mm (triangle side) by 23 mm in height including the bail. This is the largest open-work model in the catalog.
