The Watch

Alpina expands its Startimer Pilot Automatic collection with this new all-steel model. This timeless watch features a round case in stainless steel with a brushed and polished finish - sized perfectly for men's wrists at 41 mm in diameter and 11.5 mm thick. A screw-down and engraved caseback ensures water resistance to 10 ATM. A crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the hands and date with ease. The elegant dial is protected by a convex sapphire crystal - renowned for its superior scratch resistance - featuring an anti-reflective coating for effortless legibility in any light.

The Dial

The black dial gives this watch a chic, timeless character. Its matte finish is paired with white applied Arabic numeral indices treated with a luminescent coating for enhanced visibility. The hour and minute hands, in silver, are hand-polished and also filled with luminescent material - so you can read the time effortlessly in the dark. The seconds hand is equally silver and hand-polished, with an elegant red triangle at one of its tips. For added precision, a white outer ring runs along the perimeter of the dial with a seconds graduation. Finally, a date window at 6 o'clock keeps you informed at all times.

The Movement

The movement powering this elegant watch is the AL-525 caliber - an automatic movement that reliably drives both the hands and the date display. It delivers a power reserve of 38 hours, beats at 28,800 vph, and is fitted with 26 jewels.

The Strap

Sturdy yet comfortable, the stainless steel bracelet takes center stage on this model. It features three rows of brushed and polished links for a refined look that wears beautifully on the wrist, secured by a stainless steel deployant clasp.

Water Resistance

With water resistance to 100 meters (10 ATM), this striking timepiece is equally at home at a gala or in the water. Wear it in the shower, the bath, or during an energetic swim. That said, our team of watch experts wants to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or use with high-pressure water jets.
