The Watch
Seiko 5 Sports, the iconic Japanese manufacture, brings back reimagined classics that first captured the world's attention in the 1960s. Every defining characteristic of the originals has been preserved - only the design has been refreshed. This model is built around a 42.5mm stainless steel case fitted with a unidirectional Pepsi bezel, ideal for swimming and water sports. The crown is positioned at 4 o'clock. A Hardlex crystal shields the case against shocks and scratches, while a see-through screw-down caseback lets you admire the movement inside. Water resistance is rated at 10 ATM.
The Dial
This watch strikes a clean, sporty look - starting with its round blue dial. A minute track runs along the perimeter, flanked by index markers in various geometric shapes, all treated with LumiBrite coating for visibility around the clock. Three central hands track hours, minutes, and seconds, and they share the same LumiBrite treatment. At the 3 o'clock position, a day-date window keeps you on schedule, while "Automatic" is printed at 6 o'clock. Seiko signs off by engraving the 5 Sports series name just beneath the 12 o'clock index.
The Movement
Precision comes courtesy of an automatic Japanese movement - Seiko's caliber 4R36 - driving the hands with reliable accuracy. With manual winding capability and a 41-hour power reserve, you're always covered.
The Bracelet
A clean, brushed stainless steel bracelet rounds out this watch. It features a single-push-button deployment clasp that makes fastening and unfastening effortless.
Water Resistance
At 100 meters - or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this timepiece is built to handle more than just everyday life. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or the pool (yes, even during an intense swim session). That said, our team of watch experts wants to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or use with high-pressure washers. Stick to showers, baths, and swimming - and keep the pushers and crown untouched while in the water.
