The Watch

Spanish watchmaker Lotus was founded in the 1980s and has carved out a distinctive place in the watch industry with original, forward-thinking designs that blend urban style with refined elegance. The 18970/1 from the Square Series collection is a perfect expression of the brand's DNA, offering a contemporary and polished look. What makes this watch stand out is its stainless steel square case measuring 35 mm in width and 8.30 mm in thickness. The case's polished and brushed finishes beautifully enhance its gold tone, topped by a mineral crystal protecting the dial. The crown at 3 o'clock makes it easy to set the various functions, while the caseback ensures water resistance up to 5 ATM, or 50 meters.

The Dial

This stunning dial, crafted with care, adds a captivating touch to the whole piece with its white color and sunray finish. Three blue hands at the center display hours, minutes, and seconds - even in low-light conditions, thanks to their luminescent coating. They sweep over black Roman numerals marking the hours and a minute track for added precision. As a signature, Lotus places its name below 12 o'clock and the word "Quartz" at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

The analog display is powered by a Japanese quartz movement - specifically the highly reliable Miyota GL32 caliber, running on a Sr626sw battery for an autonomy of 3 years.

The Strap

This watch's strap has been carefully crafted for lasting comfort. Made from stainless steel with a gold-tone finish, it delivers a refined look and all-day wearability. Measuring 19 mm at the lug width, it features three rows of links in polished and brushed finishes, secured at the wrist with a gold-tone deployant buckle.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 meters. That makes it water-resistant - but not a water sports companion. This stylish timepiece handles the basics: showers, baths, and handwashing. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want to be clear: this model, while water-resistant, is not suitable for diving (professional or recreational) and is sensitive to high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and any pushers out of operation while submerged.
