The Watch

Seiko is a Japanese manufacture with 127 years of history, celebrated worldwide for quality watches that incorporate the latest technology. Its model SRPJ83K1 from the Sports Style collection blends design with performance. It comes with a round case in stainless steel measuring 36 mm in diameter and 12.52 mm thick. The case is topped by a domed Hardlex© crystal that provides a clear view of the dial. Standard lugs curve inward to follow the shape of the wrist, ensuring a comfortable fit. The crown at 3 o'clock is grooved and used to set the watch's various functions. The screwed case back offers a view of the movement through a transparent window, and provides 10 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

This dial features a particularly vibrant beige tone. With its sandblasted finish, it pairs perfectly with the black Arabic numerals displayed in large characters from 1 to 12 and in small characters for military hours from 13 to 24. The minute track is accompanied by square indices, all printed with Lumibrite© along with the hands - a treatment that improves readability in dark environments. Centered on the dial, the three hands mark hours and minutes with the short and long sword-shaped hands in black, while the seconds hand features a slim orange neck. At 3 o'clock, a dual window lets you read the date and day of the week on a white background. Just above 6 o'clock, the word "Automatic" notes the movement type. Finally, the brand name and logo are placed beneath the 12 o'clock triangle index as a signature.

The Movement

This watch is equipped with a Japanese-made 4R36 automatic movement offering a power reserve of 41 hours. It features 24 jewels and beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz). This in-house mechanism ensures accurate timekeeping for hours, minutes, and seconds, as well as reliable day and date display.

The Strap

This model is fitted with a nylon strap in a sand color that complements the dial beautifully. At 18 mm wide, it looks great on both men's and women's wrists. The closure is a silver pin buckle for a comfortable, secure fit.

Water Resistance

With water resistance rated at 10 atmospheres - or 100 meters - this is a seriously water-ready timepiece! From puddles to the pool, it handles splashes, showers, baths, and vigorous swimming without breaking a sweat. That said, our Ocarat watch experts want you to know: this model is not built for diving (recreational or professional) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and any pushers clear of the water when submerged.
