At 3 o'clock, the case houses a slim gold-toned knurled crown that, engraved with the Kuoe name, serves to manually set the hours and minutes. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial from the hazards of daily life, absorbing shocks and scratches that could damage it. It features an anti-reflective treatment, ensuring excellent legibility in all conditions. On the caseback, you will find a screw-down back with a transparent anti-reflective sapphire crystal window. Offering an unobstructed view of the movement and its decorated rotor, it guarantees water resistance at a pressure of 5 bar.

The Dial

This round dial captivates with its textured design, grained finish, and beautiful cream color that lends the whole piece a softer charm. It will elevate your wrist with a refined touch, allowing for smooth and clear timekeeping on any occasion. Its surface is swept by two leaf-shaped hands and a slender seconds hand with a round counterweight. In gold tone, they glide smoothly to indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds. A minutes track is graduated around the chapter ring in its classic form for a more striking look, accompanied at every 5-minute interval by small yellow gold-toned rectangles. The hours are marked by twelve gold-toned indices in classic Breguet-style Arabic numerals, each individually hand-applied, lending the watch a deeper elegance. Finally, the brand name is printed below 12 o'clock as a signature, while at the opposite end the collection name "Royal Smith", the movement type, and the "Japan Made" label are noted.

The Movement

The 90S5 caliber powers this model, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. Manufactured in Japan by the renowned Miyota manufacture, this automatic movement with 24 jewels is celebrated for its high quality, exceptional performance, and unwavering efficiency. It drives the hands with great fluidity, delivering accurate and reliable display of hours, minutes, and seconds. This movement offers a 42-hour power reserve and is equipped with a stop-seconds mechanism. Its oscillation frequency is 4 Hz, or 28,800 vph.

The Strap

This stunning watch will be delivered in a beautiful box containing two straps that are both comfortable and refined, letting you explore authentic vintage looks. Easily interchangeable thanks to lug bars, they are crafted in cowhide leather and each feature a unique shade with beige stitching for added charm. The first comes in a rich brown tone while the second offers a black finish. Whichever strap you choose, you can always count on its timeless elegance to set you apart. With an adjustable length of 14 to 19 cm, each is fitted with a gold-toned 316L stainless steel pin buckle that makes handling your watch effortless while keeping it securely fastened at all times. Note that their lug width is 18 mm.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It is designed above all to be beautiful and to shine in any setting - but that refined quality does nothing to diminish its ability to withstand the elements. You can keep this model on in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity longer. As for swimming and diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch in the water to avoid damage and costly repairs.
