A tide gauge model, it features a case crafted from stainless steel with polished and satin finishes. Its dodecagonal shape carries bold masculine proportions: 43 mm in diameter, 36.50 mm in length, and 12.30 mm thick. The case is topped by a highly resistant sapphire crystal to protect the dial from shocks and scratches. It also features a fixed bezel in polished steel secured by four screws. A crown and a pusher at 3 and 4 o'clock allow easy adjustment of the counter and hands. Finally, a screw-down caseback ensures water resistance to 10 ATM, while its sapphire crystal offers a view of the movement in action.

The Dial

The stunning dial of this watch is the perfect complement to its elegance. It sports a deep blue hue evoking the ocean floor, magnified by satin and sunburst finishes that complete its aesthetic with authentic flair. The perimeter features a minute track followed by baton indices and Roman numerals for easy time reading. These, along with the hands, benefit from a SuperLuminova Phos BL485nm Grade X1 White C1 treatment for optimal legibility in low-light conditions. Two hands indicate hours and minutes, while a fine seconds hand sweeps alongside them. Additionally, the counter at 6 o'clock indicates both the time and the tide state at a given coastal location. The brand's signature appears beneath the 12 o'clock index.

The Movement

As for the movement, Baume & Mercier has equipped this model with a Swiss-made automatic movement - specifically the caliber BM14-1975AC3, featuring 21 jewels for enhanced precision to the nearest second. This movement provides a power reserve of 120 hours and oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 (4Hz) vibrations per hour.
