The Watch
Mastery of fine watchmaking is at the heart of everything French maison Herbelin does - and the Newport collection is proof. Now reimagined as a chronograph, the Newport 37688G33TCA makes a bold entrance as a men's timepiece. The 43mm case is crafted entirely in anthracite gray PVD steel. At 3 o'clock, a knurled crown handles time-setting duties, flanked by two pushers dedicated to the chronograph functions. A sapphire crystal sits above the dial, shielding it from impacts and scratches. The screw-down case back ensures water resistance to 10 ATM.

The Dial
Herbelin goes all-in on the dial of this men's model. Beyond its round shape, the deep black dial is packed with details rendered in yellow/gold tones - applied to both the hour markers and the three main hands. The hour indices take the form of luminescent baton appliques, surrounded by a white-graduated minute track. Three subdials sit at 2, 6, and 10 o'clock, tracking 60 seconds, 1/10th of a second, and 30 minutes respectively. The date window appears between 4 and 5 o'clock. At the center, three yellow hands - including the hour and minute hands with luminescent treatment - keep perfect time. The Herbelin signature crowns the upper portion of the dial.

The Movement
This Herbelin timepiece is powered by a quartz movement - specifically, a Swiss RONDA 5040-D caliber, driving the dial's multiple hands with precision and reliability.

The Strap
Flanking the anthracite gray PVD steel case on both sides, a bold black strap completes the look. Crafted from dark rubber, it flexes naturally around the wrist for all-day comfort. Textured grooves carry the design language of the dial seamlessly onto the strap, delivering a sporty yet refined aesthetic. The clasp is a butterfly deployant buckle.

Water Resistance
Rated to 100 meters - 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this sharp-looking timepiece handles both black-tie events and water activities with equal confidence. Feel free to wear it in the shower, bath, or while swimming (even at a vigorous pace).
