The Watch

It features a plastic case measuring 41 mm in diameter, 9.85 mm thick, and 47.40 mm tall. Finished in a soft grey tone that echoes the painting that inspired it, the case houses a flat crown at 3 o'clock for setting the hours and minutes. The case back is monoblock with a screwed opening for easy battery replacement, and provides 3 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

The artistic dial of this watch is truly one of a kind. Free of any indexes, it features the face of The Son of Man as painted by René Magritte in 1964. Just as in the original work, the subject wears a bowler hat, his face obscured by a green apple that reveals only his left eye. It is a work steeped in questioning, strangeness, and mystery - and that enigmatic quality is perfectly captured on the dial, which shows only two baton hands marking the hours and minutes. The inscription "Swatch Swiss" at 12 o'clock serves as the brand's signature.

The Movement

This model is powered by a quartz movement renowned for its reliability and precision. Swiss-made and battery-operated, this mechanism keeps the hour and minute hands running accurately.

The Bracelet

Like the dial, the bracelet of this watch carries the second part of René Magritte's painting - a continuation of the artwork featuring the silhouette of the figure. On its inner side, you'll find the phrase "Ceci est une Swatch avec une pomme" and on its keeper, the painter's name. Grey in color and crafted in silicone, it fastens with a pin buckle.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 30 meters - 3 atmospheres in watchmaking terms - this watch is no water baby. Its delicate movement and water are not friends, and our team strongly recommends keeping it well away from any moisture. Light rain or doing the dishes? Fine. But skip the shower, the bath, the pool, and the ocean - this watch is happiest staying dry.
