Hamilton is a globally recognized American-Swiss watchmaking brand, beloved by enthusiasts worldwide. Through relentless creativity and an ever-evolving expertise, it has earned an undeniable place on the global watchmaking stage. Staying true to its American values and identity, Hamilton produces timepieces that are highly precise, superbly crafted, and subtly elegant - all bearing the "Swiss Made" label. Today, the brand presents this magnificent Jazzmaster Skeleton Auto H42535541 watch, a contemporary model with refined charm that perfectly embodies its unmatched craftsmanship and perfectionist spirit. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it will dress the wrist of the modern, elegant man with ease for any occasion. It features a round polished and brushed stainless steel case that ensures comfortable daily wear thanks to its ideal proportions. Measuring 40 mm in diameter and 11.05 mm thick, it houses a knurled crown at 3 o'clock for hand adjustment. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating for optimal legibility in any condition. On the reverse, the caseback features a transparent window allowing you to admire the movement's gear train. It is secured by four screws, ensuring water resistance of 50 meters.
This timepiece also offers a glimpse into its magnificent mechanism through its round dial. It features a matte dark blue base enhanced by a skeleton finish, offering an admirable view of the gear train while keeping the time display clear and fluid. At the center, a slender grey seconds hand sweeps the dial, accompanied by two grey dauphine hands for hours and minutes. Both are coated with a luminescent layer, ensuring legibility in bright and dark conditions alike. Twelve grey luminescent hour markers line the outer edge alongside a minute track graduated with silver lines. At 3 o'clock, the movement type and brand name with logo serve as a signature, with the "Swiss Made" label at 6 o'clock.
This watch is driven by the in-house H-10-S caliber, ensuring smooth, precise timekeeping for hours, minutes, and seconds. This automatic movement of Swiss manufacture is built on the ETA C07.611 platform and is prized for its outstanding performance and unwavering reliability. It features 25 jewels and a Nivachron hairspring for superior resistance to magnetic fields. The movement delivers an 80-hour power reserve and oscillates at a frequency of 3 Hz, or 21,600 vibrations/hour.
Timelessly elegant, a stitched calfskin leather strap attaches gracefully on either side of the case in a warm brown tone, lending a striking vintage character. Supple yet structured, it hugs the wrist and provides all-day comfort. It fastens with a stainless steel pin buckle measuring 18 mm wide, keeping the watch securely in place throughout wear. Note that the lug width is 20 mm.
With water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms - this is a timepiece that handles incidental water exposure without complaint, but doesn't want a long-term relationship with it. You can wear it in the shower from time to time, but to keep the movement accurate and in top condition, our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from baths, pools, and the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no prolonged water contact or immersion.
