The Watch

Avi-8 is a watch brand born from a bold fusion of aviation, style, and engineering. It features a silver-tone case crafted in polished stainless steel. Round in shape, it measures 43.50 mm in diameter, 50 mm lug-to-lug, and 11 mm in thickness - dimensions perfectly suited to men's wrists. The case weighs 90 g and is topped with a flat mineral crystal that reveals the dial and its many indicators. At 2, 3, and 4 o'clock, a crown and two pushers handle the various function adjustments. The model is finished with a screw-down caseback providing water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

The dial features a matte black finish that lets Arabic numerals stand out with clarity. Two centrally mounted hands indicate hours and minutes, and along with the indices, they are treated with Swiss Newlite for excellent legibility in the dark. A tachymeter scale runs around the dial's edge, followed by a minute track for easy time reading. The chronograph seconds hand sweeps across the dial, while three sub-dials at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock display 60-minute, small seconds, and 1/10th-second counters respectively. A date window sits at 12 o'clock alongside the brand name.

The Movement

At its heart, this model runs on a Japanese quartz movement, battery-powered and delivering precise timekeeping through its hands, date window, and chronograph function.

The Strap

This timepiece comes with two straps, both with a 20 mm lug width. Each fastens with a silver-tone pin buckle.

The bovine leather strap on this watch is gray, with black contrast stitching along the edges for a more refined look.

Also included is a second strap in black nylon - comfortable, easy to wear, and versatile enough to pair with any style.

Water Resistance

With water resistance rated at 50 meters - or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle the occasional splash, but isn't built for prolonged water exposure. You can wear it in the shower from time to time, but to preserve the movement's quality and accuracy, watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from H₂O in the bath, pool, or sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended contact or immersion.
