The Watch

Founded by Tadao Kashio in Mitaka, Japanese brand Casio invites you to explore timepieces built for uncompromising durability. Each model is crafted with care by skilled watchmakers, delivering total precision. Built from robust materials and reliable movements, they're made to last. Today, Casio presents the GM-700G-9AER watch, from the Casio G-Shock collection. It features a case crafted in gold-tone metal with a satin finish. Its round shape measures 53.40 mm wide, 58.50 mm long, and 18.40 mm thick, weighing 111 g. The case is topped with a mineral crystal that reveals the dial and its various indicators, controlled by 5 push buttons on the sides of the watch. Finally, this timepiece is water-resistant to 20 ATM thanks to its screw-secured case back.

The Dial

This model features a dial in a gold tone that pairs beautifully with the case. Its edge is lined with a black minute track combined with hour markers. Two hands sit at the center of the dial, sweeping to display the hours and minutes. They feature a luminescent coating for excellent readability in the dark. The digital display at 6 o'clock lets you read the day, date, and month. Note that the sub-dial between the 10 and 11 o'clock markers shows current mode information. Finally, Casio places its signature near 3 o'clock.

World Time Function

The world time function displays local time across 29 different time zones.

Stopwatch 1/100 s - 24 Hours

Measures elapsed time to 1/100th of a second for up to 24 hours. An audible signal confirms when the stopwatch starts and stops.

Countdown Timers - 1/1 min - 1 Hour

For precision lovers: countdown timers alert you to important or recurring events with an audible signal at your programmed date and time. Set the time in minutes, up to 1 hour in advance.

5 Daily Alarms

A daily alarm keeps you on schedule at your preset time. This model features five independent alarms so you never miss an important appointment.

Snooze Function

Every time you stop the alarm, it goes off again a few minutes later.

Button Beep On/Off

The button beep can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, there's no beep when switching between functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdown timers remain active even after the button beep is turned off.

Hand Shift Function

This function moves the hands when they obstruct the visibility of the time, date, or stopwatch display.

12/24-Hour Time Format

You can display the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.

Auto Calendar

Once set, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.

The Movement

This model runs on a Japanese quartz movement by Casio, powered by a battery with an estimated life of 5 years - delivering precision and reliability you can count on.

The Strap

The strap on this watch is made from bio-based resin in black. It pairs effortlessly with any outfit while staying comfortable on your wrist. The pin buckle makes it easy to fasten securely.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance rating of 20 atmospheres - that's 200 meters - this watch is built to go deep with you. Designed for freediving, it handles high-pressure washers without breaking a sweat. Shower, bath, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. That said, if you're planning a scuba dive, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. And always remember: never operate the crown while submerged to keep the movement safe.
