The Watch
Casio designed this watch for its Edifice collection. The brand has long paired exceptional durability with close attention to function and design, and this model's robust construction is one of its key strengths. This solar-powered Edifice chronograph has a solid stainless steel case measuring 50.0 x 47.5 x 12.7 mm (length, width, thickness). Its black-and-red color scheme and distinctive dial finish give it a sporty look, visible through high-quality sapphire crystal. A graduated black ion-plated bezel surrounds the crystal. On the right side of the case, a crown sits between two pushers that operate the watch's functions.

The Dial
The black dial features a striking carbon finish. Bold black hour markers line its edge, alongside a minute track on a slightly sloped chapter ring. Three hands sweep across the dial: the hour and minute hands are baton-shaped with arrow-shaped tips, while the slender seconds hand is red. Three distinct subdials complete the layout: a 24-hour display at 3 o'clock, a 60-second counter with a battery level indicator at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock. A date window sits between 4 and 5 o'clock.

Functions
Solar power: Solar cells provide a self-sufficient, environmentally friendly power source. Excess solar energy is stored in a rechargeable battery.

Stopwatch - 24 hours: Measures elapsed time to the nearest second for up to 24 hours.

Sapphire crystal: Sapphire crystal is a synthetic material prized for its hardness and scratch resistance. It helps prevent unsightly damage, scratches, and dulling.

Battery level indicator: Shows the current battery level.

Date display: The current date appears in a window on the dial at 4 o'clock.

The Strap
This model features a black leather strap with a dotted texture that nods to motorsports. Red stitching completes its carefully considered look. A pin buckle secures the watch. Please note that this model's lug width is specific to the collection.

Water Resistance
Water-resistant to 100 meters, or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms, this striking timepiece is at home at a gala or in the water. You can wear it in the shower, in the bath, or while swimming, even during a vigorous workout. However, our watch experts caution that this model is not designed for freediving, scuba diving, or use with pressure washers. Remember: showering, bathing, and swimming only, and do not operate the pushers or crown while in the water!
