The Watch

Originally famous for its calculators before earning a strong reputation in watchmaking, Casio is a leading brand offering high-performance, durable timepieces across its collections. The DW-5600UE-1ER watch, a flagship model in the G-Shock collection, strikes the perfect balance between sporty and casual style while adding a contemporary edge to any outfit. Shock-resistant, it features an octagonal case in durable resin with a black PVD finish, commanding presence on both men's and women's wrists alike. The Dial

The dial of this watch has a clean, minimalist look. Featuring a digital display, it echoes the octagonal shape of the case and carries watch-specific details along its border. Its gray background displays various functions including hours, minutes, seconds, date, day, month, and alarm. Low-light visibility is ensured by an LED backlight and the Super Illuminator function.

Stopwatch 1/100 sec - 24 Hours

Measures elapsed time to 1/100th of a second accuracy over a maximum duration of 24 hours. An audible signal confirms the start and stop of the stopwatch.

Countdown Timers - 1/1 sec - 24 Hours (with auto repeat)

For the precision-minded: countdown timers remind you of important or recurring events by sounding an alert at the set date and time - then automatically count back down from the pre-programmed time. The time can be set in seconds, up to 24 hours in advance - especially handy for daily medication reminders or repeated training sessions.

Multiple Alarm, Hourly Time Signal

You can set a daily alarm (time only) or an alarm for a specific day and time (month, day, and time). The number shown indicates how many multiple alarms are available. When the hourly time signal is enabled, the watch beeps at every hour change.

Auto Calendar

Once set, the auto calendar always displays the correct date.

12/24-Hour Time Format

You can display the time in 12-hour or 24-hour format.

The Movement

The heart of this timepiece beats to the rhythm of a quartz movement. This Japanese-made caliber, developed in-house by the brand, runs on a battery with a 5-year lifespan - powering all of this model's many functions with precision.

The Strap

You'll notice how supple this bracelet feels the moment you put it on. Featuring a uniform black color, it's crafted in resin - making it water-resistant for added comfort. It secures to your wrist with a buckle clasp.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. This is a watch built for deep-water adventures! Designed for freediving, it's equally at home under high-pressure water jets - no need to take it off. Showers, baths, active swimming, and freediving are all good to go. That said, if you're planning scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged, to preserve the integrity of the movement.
