The Watch

The story of Edox begins with a beautiful gesture: Christian Rüefli Flury, a talented watchmaker, crafted a pocket watch by hand as a gift for his beloved Pauline. Inspired by her encouragement, he founded a watchmaking company in Bienne, a city renowned for its horological expertise. In 1884, this master watchmaker launched his company under the name "Edox," meaning "measure of time" in ancient Greek. Driven by a passion for detail, this Swiss brand creates innovative timepieces crafted from durable materials, built to accompany you on your greatest adventures. Combining ancestral craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, Edox delivers original, everyday-ready models suited for land and deep water alike. Today, it presents the CO-1 Chronograph Automatic 01128-37GNNOCA-GNO. It features a round case crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel with a gray PVD coating that gives it a captivating look. The case measures 45 mm in diameter and 16 mm thick - ideal proportions for men's wrists. It is fitted with a rotating bezel secured by 4 screws and features a ceramic insert with a luminescent marker and minute track. On the left side, a helium escape valve and an orange button allow you to lock the bezel. On the opposite side, two pushers flank a black crown, protected by a double O-ring gasket and screw-down for a secure grip. These pushers control the chronograph functions, all protected by a sapphire crystal that shields the dial from impact. This notably substantial model weighs 160 g and features a screw-down caseback, engraved for a water resistance of 50 ATM. It also includes a transparent exhibition window to admire the movement's inner workings.

The Dial

This dial was designed to give you easy, precise timekeeping at a glance. Round in shape, it features a bezel with a tachymeter scale printed in black. Inside it, the minute track runs along the edge, with the numeral 1 and black and orange indices marking the hours. At the center, three hands keep accurate time: a slim chronograph seconds hand, accompanied by a large and a short hand indicating minutes and hours respectively. These last two feature a luminescent coating for optimal readability in low-light conditions - the same coating is also applied to the hour indices. For added functionality, a double window at 3 o'clock displays the date and the day of the week in English abbreviation. It is complemented by three sub-dials at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, indicating 12-hour display, small seconds, and 30-minute chronograph respectively. Near 6 o'clock, the Swiss Made inscription guarantees the movement's reliability, while at 3 o'clock the dial bears the brand name and movement type as a signature.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by an automatic movement manufactured in-house. Robust and reliable, this Swiss mechanism drives the hands and all functions with precision. The Edox caliber 011, based on the SW 500, features a 30 mm diameter and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph. It is also fitted with 25 jewels, features Incabloc shock resistance, and offers a daily accuracy of ±20 seconds per day. Its power reserve stands at 46 hours.

The Strap

This strap ensures comfortable wear for any occasion. Simple and lightweight, it is crafted from rubber and becomes even more comfortable over time. Its clean black tone pairs effortlessly with any accessory you choose, and it is perfectly suited for all physical activities. Embossed with the brand's logo, this strap features a lug width of 25 mm and is fitted with a butterfly deployant clasp for easy handling.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 50 atmospheres, or 500 meters.
