The Watch

Herbelin was born from its founder's passion to preserve the watchmaking tradition of his home region. Founded in 1947, the brand is dedicated to crafting precise, high-quality timepieces. True to its roots, the founder continues to assemble every watch in Charquemont, in the Jura - the heart of French watchmaking excellence. From the Cap Camarat collection, inspired by the French Riviera, comes this chronograph watch featuring a barrel-shaped case crafted in 316L stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes. Distinctly masculine, it measures 42 mm in diameter and 10.45 mm thick. The silver-toned bezel is adorned with six screws as a decorative design element. The case is topped by a flat sapphire crystal that shields the dial from scratches and everyday impacts. At 3 o'clock, you'll find a crown and two pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock, allowing you to manage all functions with ease. Finally, the screw-down caseback ensures a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

The dial features a black base with striped and sunray finishes that enhance its overall appeal. Bar-shaped indices around the perimeter are complemented by a minute railroad track on the chapter ring for easy reading. The three sub-dials at three, six, and nine o'clock are dedicated to chronograph functions, indicating small seconds, 1/10th of a second, and 30 minutes respectively. The three rose gold-toned hands at the center display hours, minutes, and seconds via the short, long, and slim hand with a rectangular counterweight. Both the hands and indices are coated with a luminescent treatment for excellent legibility in low-light conditions. Finally, a date window sits at six o'clock, with the brand name printed at twelve o'clock.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a Swiss quartz movement - specifically the Ronda Startech 5040.D caliber, a reliable and high-performing engine that drives all central functions with efficiency and precision.

The Strap

This model features a flexible black FKM elastomer strap - equally at home with a city outfit or sportswear. Meticulously engineered for flexibility and all-day comfort, it fastens with a grey pin buckle that also lets you dial in the perfect fit.

Water Resistance

This watch delivers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - that's a seriously splash-proof timepiece. Ready to dive into aquatic adventures with you, it handles everything from puddles to the pool without breaking a sweat. Shower, bath, or a swim session? No problem. That said, our watchmaking experts note that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (recreational or professional) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or pushers while submerged.
