The Watch

Founded by Thomas Earnshaw - nicknamed the "father of the modern chronometer" - the house presents its chronograph model ES-8260-05 from the Nasmyth collection. This watch features a round case with bold proportions. At 44 mm in diameter, it's the perfect fit for a man's wrist with a taste for elegant style. Crafted in stainless steel with a bronze PVD coating, the case is built to last. A mineral crystal adds reliable protection against shocks and scratches. A crown and two pushers on the right side of the case give you easy, intuitive control. Finally, the transparent case back delivers both 5 ATM water resistance and a breathtaking view of the rotor and movement.

The Dial

What makes this watch stand out is its round dial. The open-worked dial lets you admire the stunning automatic movement in action. At the center, two navy blue hands indicate the hours and minutes, guided by Roman numeral hour indices and a minute railway track around the dial. Three sub-dials sit at 9 o'clock, 3 o'clock, and 6 o'clock, tracking 60 minutes, 60 seconds, and 10 minutes respectively. A date window at 12 o'clock completes the display, making it easy to keep track of time with precision. Finally, the brand name is inscribed at the 12 o'clock position, reinforcing the watch's authenticity.

The Movement

An automatic movement powers this timepiece with reliable precision, driving the hour and minute hands as well as the various chronograph indicators.

The Strap

The strap on this watch is crafted in leather. Its black tone and crocodile-pattern finish add a modern, sophisticated edge. Tone-on-tone stitching completes the look, and the strap fastens securely with an ardillon buckle matched to the case.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 ATM (50 m). While its stunning looks are built for the spotlight, they don't come at the expense of durability. You can keep it on in the shower - though the Ocarat team recommends setting it on the edge of the sink to preserve its finish and integrity over time. Swimming and diving, however, are not recommended, as water damage from those activities would not be covered and repair costs would be your responsibility.
