Watch The Scratch Watch from M&Co 33mm

Black and white at its finest - this contemporary timepiece features a clean, uncluttered dial where the numerals echo a handwritten script. Its designer, Tibor Kalman, lived by the motto "Waste not a moment," and true to that philosophy, he believed that even time - relentless as it is - should carry a sense of lightness on the wrist. The two-hand mechanism runs on a Japanese quartz movement.

The Watch
The stunning black IP stainless steel case features four steel lugs. Its black stainless steel bezel frames a reinforced mineral crystal. With a 33mm diameter, the round case has a snap-on case back. Time is set via the black steel crown at 3 o'clock.

The Dial
Crisp white dial featuring two slender black hands for hours and minutes. Stripped down to the essentials, it displays Arabic numerals 1 through 12 in black handwritten-style type. Just above the 6 o'clock index, the name of the firm "M&Co," founded in 1979 by Tibor Kalman, is printed in black lettering.

The Movement
This two-hand watch runs on a Japanese Miyota quartz movement.

The Strap
Attached to the case via four steel lugs, this strap features a black steel pin buckle and two black leather keepers. Crafted from supple black leather with black contrast stitching, it has an 18mm lug width.

Water Resistance
With a water resistance of 3 ATM (30 meters), this watch can handle handwashing and showering - but our Ocarat watchmaking experts note it was not designed for water sports such as swimming or scuba diving.
