The Watch

Briston is a French brand born from a distinctly British spirit. Founded in 2012, creator Brice Jaunet built his reputation on unique designs shaped by years of experience within major watchmaking groups. He now unveils this Streamliner Urban 22142.S.T.1.RB. Crafted in steel and tortoiseshell acetate, its case stands out with a striking tonneau shape enhanced by a screwed bezel that's equally square. On the right, a crown and two pushers allow you to set your hands with ease. The watch features a mineral crystal for scratch resistance, while the caseback ensures a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

This round dial captivates with its black finish and guilloché texture. A minute track runs along the dial's edge. Baton indices and Arabic numerals mark the hours and are pointed to by three hands - the hour and minute hands are skeletonized and feature a luminescent coating. The chronograph function is represented by two subdials: a 24h counter and a 60-minute counter, positioned at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock respectively. A date window sits at 6 o'clock to display the current date. The brand's signature appears at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a quartz movement at its core. Its Japanese Miyota OS21 caliber delivers reliable, precise timekeeping for up to 5 years.

The Strap

The strap paired with this timepiece is crafted in black rubber, renowned for its flexibility and soft feel against the skin. The straps measure 75 / 115 mm with a width of 20 mm. Easy to put on and take off, it fastens securely with a pin buckle.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - making it a genuinely water-resistant watch. Ready to join you in the water, from puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles splashes and swims without complaint. Shower, bath, and recreational swimming? No problem. That said, our watchmaking experts at Ocarat want you to know this model, while water-resistant, is not rated for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers clear of operation during submersion.
